Clearly, Texas is seeing a lot of growth in both population and new homes being built. But a look at the numbers show this is a trend. In fact, here are the 2023 totals for new home sales by closings:
- Dallas – Fort Worth; 42,840
- Houston, TX; 32,791
- Phoenix, AZ; 21,784
- Austin, TX; 18,632
- San Antonio, TX; 17,002
So we see not just the same cities, but the same order in the “Top 5” led by the Dallas – Fort Worth Metroplex.
