Did you know: DFW has a “Chinatown” in Richardson, TX. Located on Greenville Avenue, a few blocks from Arapaho about half mile south of Four Bullets Brewery.
This area is officially called “DFW Chinatown,” though it also has Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and other restaurants. In fact, it has eleven restaurants, a bakery, a tea shop, a bank, a Chinese cultural center, and a grocery store.
My personal favorite restaurant in the plaza so far is Genroku. It has a variety of different asian foods to order, but we primarily order sushi and entrees by the bento box. My go to order is the Pork Tonkatsu. They do a good job with it and you really can’t beat the price.
The Good Fortune Supermarket has fresh foods as well as a wide selection of imported goods. The prices were pretty good for a round of grocery shopping.
So head to DFW Chinatown for some great food ad a fun experience; it is definitely worth your time. For a full list of restaurants, shops, and services, check out their website HERE.
